Panora provides an API key system that powers advanced integrations across your Roblox games and services. These API keys are used in systems like the Panora API Module, Application Center, and Ranking Center, allowing you to securely perform actions such as role management, promotions, and more — directly in your Roblox experiences.

To generate and use an API key, you must be subscribed to the Elite Plan.

Requirements

Before you can create and use an API key, ensure the following:

  • You are on the Elite Plan.
  • You have access to the Panora Dashboard.
  • You are logged in with your Discord account and have selected your desired workspace.

How to Generate an API Key

Access the Dashboard

Visit the Panora Dashboard, log in with Discord, and select your workspace.

Navigate to the API Section

In the sidebar, find the ELITE section and click on the Panora API tab.

Generate or View Your Key

Under API Key Management, you’ll see your current key masked by default (e.g. PANORA-••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••-API-••••••••••••••••).

  • Click the Eye icon to reveal your key.
  • Click the Copy button to copy it securely.
  • Click the Reset API Key button to generate a new Key.

Treat your API key like a password — never share it publicly or in untrusted places. Reset your key immediately if you believe it has been exposed.

Game Whitelist Setup

To use your API key within Roblox games, you must whitelist each experience using its Universal ID.

Go to the Game Whitelist Tab

In the same Panora API section, switch to the Game Whitelist tab.

Add Your Game

Enter your game’s Universal ID (found in Roblox Creator Dashboard) and click Add.
Your game will appear in the list of whitelisted experiences.

Manage Access Per Game

For each listed game:

  • Use the toggle switch to enable or disable API key access.
  • Click the trash can icon to remove the game from the whitelist.

You can add multiple games and control API access for each individually. This ensures your key is only usable where you allow it.

Where API Keys Are Used

Panora API Keys are required for the following services:

  • Panora API Module: Automate group actions like rank changes and shouts directly from your Roblox game.
  • Application Center: Process and manage in-game applications securely.
  • Ranking Center: Promote, demote, or rank users with role-based controls.

Revoking or Resetting Your Key

If your key is ever compromised or no longer needed:

  1. Navigate to the Panora API tab.
  2. Click Reset API Key to invalidate the old one and generate a new one instantly.
